Spiritual guidance, or companioning, long known as spiritual direction, can help us reconnect with our inner selves, our true source, our purpose in being here on this planet. It does not require belief in a personal God, though that may be important for some. When religious structures no longer feed us, how can we be present to the Divine in new ways? How can we open ourselves to a life that will sustain us?
Spiritual guidance is also a process which helps us to reflect upon old beliefs that block our ability to achieve a full mature spirituality.
My own spiritual journey has taken many paths beginning in the Catholic tradition. My studies at Boston University School of Theology opened me to the treasures found in all faiths. All religions have a mystical element and it is there that I find the mystery of God revealed. I have now found a home in the Interfaith Community. "Interfaith describes passionately welcoming and lovingly affirming the teachings and practices of all spiritual paths, religions and wisdom traditions including no path." (Jacob Watson)
It is an honor to walk with someone on this journey.
I am not a trained social worker or therapist. If in working with you, I feel that you need a trained counselor, I will not hesitate to recommend that you see one.
The first appointment for spiritual guidance is free. If you decide to work with me, you can choose from a sliding scale that fits your budget. For more information about spiritual guidance or other rituals:
